Glam Rock band, Sweeney Todd had a #1 hit with
“Roxy Roller” in 1976, which held onto the number
one spot for three weeks. The song went on to win a Juno
Award for Single Of The Year.
Nick Gilder
has had an illustrious career, winning Juno and Socan
awards in Canada and BMI airplay awards in the U.S.
He’s had 3 #1 hits, "Roxy Roller (with Sweeney
Todd)," "Hot Child in the City", and "The
Warrior" for Patty Smyth of Scandal.

total Nick has had 10 top 20 hits in North America,
songs written and recorded for himself and others.
His songs have been recorded by Pat Benatar, Joe
Cocker, Bette Midler, Patty Smyth, and many others
- appearing on over 20 million records |

on "Sex and the City" with an episode titled, "Hot
Child in the City", "Barb Wire" with Pamela Anderson,
"My Science Project," "Youngblood" with Rob Lowe,
"The Wraith" and "Hot Child in the City" the movie

songs, this is a band got the kids up and dancing!
